The Tutoring Center offers peer tutoring during the Spring and Fall semesters. We also offer supplemental tutoring all year long via our partner organization.
Fall and Spring Peer Tutoring

eTutoring services, which continue for TCNJ students every day but 11/27 until 12/20/25. eTutoring services resume on Monday, 1/5/26 (unavailable 12/20/25-1/4/26).

Tutoring is offered Monday through Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
The Tutoring Center is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm and is located in Roscoe West Hall, Suite 203.

Individual and group tutoring appointments in writing and most subjects are available free for TCNJ students 7 days/week, 8am-8pm, online and in person

Supplemental Tutoring
Free online tutoring services are offered whenever classes are in session (Fall/Winter, Spring, Summer): Asynchronous Writing Lab and live Zoom sessions. eTutoring sessions are limited to 4 sessions per week.
TCNJ is a partner in the National eTutoring Consortium, which offers free online synchronous and asynchronous assistance in a variety of humanities and math/science/engineering-based courses, as well as with academic writing.
Get Started with eTutoring
- Go to the eTutoring website
- Click “Get Started”;
- Choose TCNJ from drop-down menu and login using your TCNJ credentials.

For Writing:
- Writing Lab: Submit a draft of your paper, in any subject or course, ask for specific feedback, and receive a detailed response within 48 hours.
- Live Tutoring: Meet with a tutor to discuss drafts in one-on-one tutoring sessions via a fully interactive online meeting room.
- eQuestions: Leave a specific question for eTutors and get a response within 48 hours.
- Plan Ahead: Turn-around time from when you post your draft can be same-day, but at peak times such as mid-semester or during final exam periods, a tutor’s response may take a day or longer.
